This week we talked about rhythm and note values and added the G chord to our repertoire.  We also played our first song and played along with the DVD.  Most all of the students said they wanted to practice 30 minutes a day.  That would be fantastic.  A minimum of 15 minutes a day will make a big difference!

This week work on:

  • Practice "grabbing" D and G chords
  • Play along with "Two Lonely Chords" on the DVD p 11

I will rise and go to my father.
Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;
in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense.
Thoroughly wash me from my guilt
and of my sin cleanse me.
